Talan Enterprises (parent company of Sainik Welfare News) is India’s leading ex-servicemen consultancy, created and run by an ex-serviceman, we are driven by cause to help retired defence people and assist companies in finding loyal, passionate, and self-driven ex-servicemen.
We started our journey as Sainik Welfare News, back on 4th May 2017. Our founder, Capt. Lokendra Singh (Retd.), who himself has served 30 years in Indian Army, faced difficulty in accessing the benefits that were designed for retired and serving defence personals. He found that almost all ex-servicemen face this difficulty while transitioning to civil society. The ex-servicemen community needs awareness about their entitlements, and the right procedure to avail the benefits. With this vision, he started spreading awareness through calls, messages and made videos presenting complex government letters into simple Hindi language.
And that’s how the journey of becoming India’s largest ex-servicemen YouTube channel begins, with the name of Sainik Welfare News. So far, we have a family of more than 1.1 million+ subscribers and have received over 200 million+ views and counting. Just to set the perspective right, every second defence personnel in India is our active subscriber.
In these years we took a lot many initiatives that supported both serving and retired defence personnels in every aspect of their life, like pension correction, ECHS facilities and claims, renewing CSD cards, fighting court cases with authentic letters and many more.
